A Personalized Program

🧐 Research-Backed and Developmentally Appropriate
Rise is ideal for early readers and writers who are ready to take the next step — whether they simply need more encouragement or thrive with individualized guidance due to learning differences like dyslexia, dysgraphia, or ADHD. Rise is a Science of Reading aligned program.

It’s a calm, encouraging way to help your child build momentum and joy in their literacy journey — at their own pace, in their own way.

🫶🏻 Literacy and Social-Emotional Learning
Children need to feel safe and connected to be ready to learn. Our activities nurture a learning mindset, and help you build a positive learning partnership with your child.

Just 15 Minutes a Day
It’s completely screen-free and takes just 15 minutes a day — so you can build confidence and connection without adding stress to your routine.

Picture this…

Yesterday, your daughter wrote a 5-star review of the book she read.  This morning, she’s already sitting at the kitchen table with the first draft of the book review. As she reads it aloud, you edit it together using a checklist and the pretty blue pen she picked out. She rolls her eyes at you when you correct her spelling, but you both smile as you show her how to form the letter lowercase “y” correctly, hand over hand.

“Ding, ding, ding!” Your alarm goes off.  Fifteen minutes are already up.

You can’t believe how much she’s progressed with reading and writing in just a couple months… and it’s all thanks to the Rise Kit.

Is this for homeschool families?

We love working with homeschool families!

Homeschool mom Laurie says

“My homeschooled, elementary age child and I have tried a few other well known programs but Literacy Playground ticks all our boxes. I wanted a program that took the pressure of planning off my shoulders, offered personalized, one on one feedback and support and allowed me to be involved in my son’s reading and writing education without personal stress and self-doubt. This specific combination is something I was just not getting from any other program.”

Is this for kids with learning difficulties?

We celebrate neurodiversity at Literacy Playground and strive to build inclusive programs.

Literacy Playground has been effective for children with dyslexia, dysgraphia and ADHD.

Literacy Playground activities are research-backed and should reinforce what teachers and specialists are working on with your kids.

If your child has moderate-severe difficulties, prepare for a short period of trial and error at the start of the program. We will communicate with you regularly and tweak the program as needed.
